EMLC is an independent charity specialising in leadership development.

Our clients include the National College for School Leadership and the Training and Development Agency.

NPQH graduation 2007 We provide a range of leadership development services of our own and for our clients. These services are designed for staff in a diverse range of roles. We have successful experience of managing high profile regional and national contracts for leadership development.

Through providing a range of leadership programmes and through operating a regional centre for the TDA, we have a detailed understanding of the workforce reform, Every Child Matters and extended schools agendas.

We believe in making a real difference to the leaders we work with and helping them improve the life chances of children and young people. Our expertise lies in delivery, research, design and assessment. Our core staff are supported by a wider team of facilitators and assessors.

NPQH graduation 2008

EMLC was delighted to host a graduation ceremony for recent NPQH graduates at the Walkers Stadium recently to celebrate their success in gaining the qualification. Graduates were congratulated by Jan Marshall, David Bateson and Dr George Berwick, who spoke about some of their experiences of headship. Families, friends, EMLC staff and tutors joined together for what provided to be a very enjoyable occasion. More....

NPQH Graduation Centre

We are pleased to announce that EMLC has been awarded a national contract by the National College for School Leadership to run the Graduation Centre for the redesigned NPQH. We will be responsible for managing the NPQH graduation assessment process for the whole of England. More .....

New Visions

Applications can now be made for New Visions, a programme fore heads in the first three years of a first headship, provided for NCSL by EMLC. EMLC provides New Visions across the East and West Midlands and the East. Go to www.ncsl.org.uk to apply or contact us for more details.
