City and Guilds Assessment
Centre
|
 EMLC
operates a
City and Guilds Assessment Centre for the
7301 Certificate and Diploma
for Specialist Leaders of
Behaviour and Attendance.
This is managed by Judith
Jeffery (left) and Ben Harper (right).
City
and Guilds offer a
qualification for the growing number
of specialists who work in the field of behaviour and attendance.
Candidates work in varied settings: in
mainstream or special schools or units; in primary or secondary
schools and in support services. All have a leadership role in
behaviour and attendance as part of their work or aspire to such
a role.

You
can gain accreditation
for work completed as part of the NPSL-BA
programme through a City and Guilds Certificate
or Diploma.
You will need to consider
carefully whether to submit work for the
City and Guilds Certificate or Diploma
level. These
are
vocationally related qualifications (VQRs)
at levels 3 and 4 of the national qualification framework.
Assessment is by portfolio against the learning outcomes.
You will need to decide whether to opt to be assessed at Level 3
– certificate level - or Level 4 – diploma level. The assessment
requires you to submit a clearly annotated portfolio of selected
evidence with signposts to demonstrate that you have met the
required standards.
The
assessment centre
is able to provide you with a clear structure and
framework indicating the way in which your portfolio should
be put together in the light of the assessment criteria.
You are advised to register your intention to undergo assessment
as early as possible. When you have registered we will
provide you with additional guidance.

information please contact
Ben Harper.
